When Snow Days Stop Being Fun!

Wearing PJs inside out and manifesting snow can be exciting for the household! Then the snow comes, and it can be even more thrilling! Depending on your children's age and level of independence, this adventure can run out of steam quickly. Here are some tips to be present with the joy of snow and provide space for all to thrive.

1) let it snow...be present with snow and all the fun it can offer to our children for making memories.

2) take 30-minute to 1-hour "chill out" times for everyone to have time to self...you need it and so do they!

3) enlist the help of your children to be a part of all the chores that come with snow within safety considerations for their age (such as organizing snow clothes, shoveling, making hot chocolate/soups, and more).

4) play games together

5) remember that snow will not last forever just as this precious stage of your children is not either.

Be present and let it snow!
